Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering
Being a peak component of the scientific research at Babes-Bolyai University, the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering has dedicated its activity which spans over eight decades to both teaching and research, both resulting in outstanding academic and scientific achievements.
By developing strong international relationships and exchanges, by cultivating cooperation projects with other universities and European or American institutes, the faculty is continuously expanding its scientific cooperation and exchange of students and teachers; it is a well-known fact that chemistry is one of the most "internationalized" areas of science education and research at the onset of the third millennium.

ADMISSION SCORE = 0.2 X ADMISSION TEST GRADE + 0.8 X BACCALAUREATE SCORE
* Under Higher Education Law no. 199/2023, university degree programmes may be organised in consortia for dual education. In the dual degree higher education system, the learning, teaching, practical, research and assessment activities are equally distributed between the university and the economic operators, subject to an agreement signed between them. The higher education institution conducts learning, teaching and assessment activities, while the economic operators provide work-based learning activities and hands-on training of students. In order to provide dual degree programmes, Babeș-Bolyai University has established collaboration protocols with relevant economic partners in their field of activity, thus providing its graduates with a competitive advantage on the labour market. |
