The mission of the Faculty of Roman Catholic Theology is focused on:

  • promoting education and research in the field of theology, ecclesial segment and socio-charitable sector, in line with the demands of a knowledge-based society through initial training, continuing education and integration in the circuit of academic and ecclesial values.
  • ensuring a level of interference between society and the church.
  • contribution to the religious formation, development of educational, ecclesiastical, social and charitable structures through involvement with the reality of the world, in line with the community needs.

Specialisation

Theology Field

1 Specialisation ROMAN CATHOLIC DIDACTIC THEOLOGY- 3 years, full time education - in Hungarian

Selection criteria

  • Baccalaureate score worth 50% of the admission score.
  • Motivation letter worth 50% of the admission score.
2 Specialisation PASTORAL ROMAN CATHOLIC THEOLOGY in Alba Iulia- 4 years, full time education - in Hungarian

Selection criteria

  • Baccalaureate score worth 50% of the admission score.
  • Oral exam worth 50% of the admission score.

NOTE:

  • Students who have won first, second, or third prize in the National Roman Catholic Religion Competition “Pe urmele vocației” (In the Footsteps of Vocation) or in the national phase of the Roman Catholic Religion Olympiad in Hungarian in grades 11 or 12 are exempt from the admission test and will have an admission score of 10.00.
  • Students who have competed at least twice in the national phase of the aforementioned Olympiads/competitions are exempt from submitting a letter of motivation and will receive a score of 10.00 for this criterion.
