Being a peak component of the scientific research at Babes-Bolyai University, the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering has dedicated its activity which spans over eight decades to both teaching and research, both resulting in outstanding academic and scientific achievements.
By developing strong international relationships and exchanges, by cultivating cooperation projects with other universities and European or American institutes, the faculty is continuously expanding its scientific cooperation and exchange of students and teachers; it is a well-known fact that chemistry is one of the most "internationalized" areas of science education and research at the onset of the third millennium.

Selection criteria

  • Interview worth 50% of the admission score.
  • Undergraduate/diploma final exam score worth 50% of the admission score.

NOTE: A certificate of language proficiency in an international language is required for all master’s degree programmes except those in the field of Education Sciences.
