The Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences (FPSE) was established in 1997. Its present structure reflects the declared intention of the academic staff to cover domains and subdomains which are scientifically and professionally related.
Integrating high academic standards and a broad educational offer, FPSE provides initial training and continuing education in the field of Psychology and Educational Sciences. The programmes of study are conducted in Romanian, English, Hungarian and German.

Psychology Field

  1. Specialisation Clinical Psychology, Psychological Counselling and Psychotherapy (in Romanian) - full time
  2. Specialisation Psychological Techniques for Controlling Behaviour and Development of Human Potential (in Romanian) - full time

Selection criteria (for specialisations 1-2):

  • Graduation exam score - 20%
  • Interview (in-person) conducted around a paper (research project or a summary of the scientific literature) of no more than 4 pages, written by the candidate on a topic relevant to the Master's degree programme - 80%

Selection criteria (for specialisations 3-6):

  • Graduation exam score - 20%
  • Interview (in-person) conducted around a paper (a theoretical synthesis, a research project, a prevention/intervention project) of no more than 4 pages, written by the candidate on a topic relevant to the the master’s programme- 80%

  1. Specialisation Counselling and Psychological Intervention (in Hungarian) - full time

Selection criteria:

  • Graduation exam score - 20%
  •  Interview in Hungarian based on a research paper (published in English) in the psychology field - 80%

  • Graduation exam score - 30%
  • Grade to a research project presentation on a theme chosen by the candidate in the field of the master's programme. Project will be submitted upon registration - 70%
