* Under Higher Education Law no. 199/2023, university degree programmes may be organised in consortia for dual education. In the dual higher education system, the learning, teaching, practical, research and assessment activities are equally distributed between the university and the economic operators, subject to an agreement signed between them. The higher education institution conducts learning, teaching and assessment activities, while the economic operators provide work-based learning activities and hands-on training of students. In order to provide dual degree programmes, Babeș-Bolyai University has established collaboration protocols with relevant economic partners in their field of activity, thus providing its graduates with a competitive advantage on the labour market.
